Early Childhood Programs

The Early Childhood Programs at LSU are designed in alignment with the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s Standards of Professional Practice. The program offers a bachelor’s degree (B-K and PK-3 Teacher Certification), a Master’s of Education, Educational Specialist degree, and a Doctoral degree in Education.

The undergraduate degree has a structured admission procedure, with interviews occurring each spring. Current students apply for the ECE Teacher Certification Program by downloading the admission application for Early Childhood Education.

The graduate programs’ admissions interviews are conducted each semester in September and March. Students may apply for the graduate program through the graduate school.
